Hi All,
Just wanted to shout out and say hello to the community here. :grin2:
I'm a formal 1997 Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Ram 1500 mopar gal, that has fallen to a darker side.
My confession: I'm in love with the Jeep Wranglers <3
I am currently searching for just the right one to practice my mechanical skills (i only know the very basics like tire changes, oil, K&N filter upgrades, belts, exhaust upgrades, stereo, etc) so anyone with any advise, please advise!!!
I am stuck between wanting an older YJ and I am in love with the older body/lights... but thinking i might end up going TJ for more modern capabilities and upgrades? Wondering if one is harder/easier to work with/get parts for from all you experienced folks.
My main idea is to have it be street legal, yet be able to go off road around Rausch Creek (as i currently use my ATV there with friends and found they have car trails too) and any other new places others enjoy around the NJ/PA area.
So, in short, the obsession has started and the goal is to acquire just the right one before the summer.
Really looking forward to some of your ideas :cheers2:
Thanks!
