Happy 4th - New Girl from Cali

Hey there, new but not new really. I've been all over these boards stalking everyone for awhile now. But thought I'd finally get on in here.

I'm from California, born and raised in the East Bay now living up in HEAVEN in Pioneer. Bought my first Jeep used in Mar'11 - 2006 TJ Rubicon (kinda, I'll post that story on another thread). It's at almost 50k miles and has been sitting for quite awhile, as things just keep on happening.

Little by little I'm fixing it. I've sure learned alot from these boards, and wish I would have freakin' taking SHOP class! But heck, with the vids and pics posted here and a boyfriend that is good at working on vehicles and doesn't seem to have an issue with me not letting him do anything on my Jeep without me doing it with him ("whats that? where's that go? lemme try! I got this! what's leaking?!").

Welcome and sorry to hear about your "Rubicon". Shop classes are not necessary common sence and observation will get you through 95%. When you get stuck just take your time and step back.

Thanks for the welcome! True on common sense and observation. I did post what happened to my Jeep here: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f95/g...bicon-1544732/. Whoever had it before did an axle swap, and a lot of "pulling" parts that I didn't know to look for - and not sure what else. So shop would assist a bit right now while I try to figure all of this out.

Learning as I go! These forums and everyone's knowledge and stories have helped me alot in the last 2+ years. So thanks!

Hey I'm a little late but welcome! Haha

Pioneer as in close to Jackson? I live in Loomis, so I'm not too far away if you want to go wheeling some time.
