Greetings from Germany

Hi Jeepers,

just want to say "hello" to the forum. I'm a Jeeper from Germany and have a TJ and a YJ.

I just started the build of the 91 YJ with 2.5 engine. My plan is to convert the front to CJ.

The YJ will get a 2" BL and a 2" OME with 31" tires. Color will be orange. Instead of chrome all other parts (rims, mirrors etc.) will be black.

Cheers

I have been wanting to buy a cheap YJ and convert it to a CJ for the longest time! JP magazine did a great write up a while back.

I was in Germany last summer. I stayed in Dusseldorf, Koln and Berlin. man I must have seen 50 Land Rover Defenders driving around. I I saw a dealership with 3 BRAND NEW defender 110's.

I have no idea how they get away with no airbags. what are the laws over there for new cars?

I also saw couple Euro Tj's. those things are pretty sick. the body kit reminds me of the renegade YJ's a little. and of course I saw more then a few TJ's, but they were mostly 4.0's, I thought they would all be the VM diesels?

Hi folks,

here are some pics of my project and pics of my already rebuild TJ.

@austinaubinoe: Hope you like the TJ, doesn't look like the german Version any more (no plastic, 2" OME, 31" on Mojok rims and bumbers)

@blkrubi88: I keep the lights in the garage off, so nobody sees it

Cheers from Germany
