Hey everyone this is my first time on this site. Also first time ever owning a jeep. I realized I might need a little help along the way being this green.

Dose anyone know any good jeep mechanics in Chicago Illinois?

Welcome to JF!
Unfortunately I know nothing of the area, but, if you are willing to get a bit dirty and do some wrenching yourself, we all may be able to help you out a little through here.
If you have a question about a topic or certain situation, try using the search feature at the top left of the jeepforum page. It's not the best of search engines but it will usually get you what you need. Chances are, there's already at least a few threads started with the topic you want. You can usually find the information you need a lot quicker that way, especially if it's one of the more common problems with your vehicle.
Also, if you fill out your vehicle information on your profile, it can help people answer questions a bit easier and quicker than trying to play 21 questions with any posts you make. Hope this helps!

Congratulations on your purchase of your Jeep! May it give you many years of faithful service and lots of fond memories!
