Allow myself to introduce.........myself
Sorry for the Austin Powers reference, I couldn't help myself.
I am the proud owner of a 2012 Wrangler Sahara. I would post a pic, but my tablet makes it impossible to do it. I'll try to make some time to post it from my desk top next chance I get. Anyway, it is bright white with the white hard top. It pretty much has everything except a navigation system.
I know everyone has their own story and mine is kind of long, so I'll try to give an abbreviated version. I owned a 1989 Islander that helped me get through the harsh winters of the NC mountains in Boone. I took that thing just about anywhere and everywhere. Heck, I even got a ticket from a wildlife officer for driving where I wasn't supposed to be when I was in college. Apparently driving up the side of a mountain just because you can is frowned upon. I regret ever selling the Jeep and have been without one since 1998. Well, I did pick up a 1990 Cherokee a few years ago, but it is not the same to me.
I have always had Mustangs since I was 16 and I have quite a collection. Unfortunately, I had two back surgeries and had to medically retire at age 40. Getting in and out of old Mustangs got pretty old, so they are being sold off and I am back into a Wrangler. I know, that sounds weird being I have back problems, but the only time I plan yo take the Jeep of road is at the beach. It sucks that I will never get to really enjoy the Jeep for what it was made for, but the feeling of the open road with the top off will suite me just fine.
