1992 Cherokee Laredo 5spd/4wd comming from Louisville KY

Hello.

My name is Brandon and Im new to these forums, and also Jeep modifications.

I am not new to the auto tho. I had a '95 V6 twin Turbo mustang with Hurst Short Throw shifter, 3.73 Ford 8.8 rear end, Tremec T-6 tranny, yadda yadda yadaa.

I am new to the whole four wheel drive stuff.

I am purchasing a 92 Cherokee Laredo tommorrow.

It is a 4wd 5-spd 4.0.

Is 5-spd any good with four wheeling? Iv looked at some videos on here, and it seems that they are all automatic they way they are being driven.

I used to have a 88 Cherokee but it was 2wd, auto and a 4.0. I dropped it with airbags and had 20"s on it.

I now am wanting to get into the wheeling scene.

Where can I find some specs for my Jeep? And is there any wheeling groups in Louisville that will let a "newb" in on the fun?
