Upload Images into Posts For All in Techincal Forums
We have now granted the permission to upload images directly into posts in the technical forums for non-Premium members.
Like the ability to post a Classified you need 25 posts to get this feature so we can ensure spammers and trolls do not register to attach bad images.
Why are we doing this after years of not allowing it?
Simply to improve the technical forums and ensure that images do not "break" over time from users hosting elsewhere then losing their hosting. We are constantly tweaking JeepForum to keep our costs low but at the same time offer the best possible technical resource we can.
We hope that by allowing everyone to upload images in the technical forums it will further improve the flow of information.
Moab Trails I've done: Onion Creek, Long Canyon, Dome Plateau, Top of The World (2), Fins-N-Things (2), Poison Spider,
Golden Spike, Gold Bar Rim, Hell's Revenge (2), Baby Lion Back, Cliff Hanger, Moab Rim, Kane Creek Canyon, Strike Ravine
Thanks, Keith. This will definitely improve interaction between Jeepforum members. Lots of times it's kind of tough to get a point across, and as has always been said, "A picture is worth a thousand words" still holds true. Thanks again for allowing this "privilege" to all non-premium members. It is greatly appreciated.

Awesome! It's a huge help for those of us who are new (and are still waiting till after the wedding to finally pony up the dough for a membership) and pictures help a lot. Not just for the convenience of posting, but also when searching a thread years after it was posted still being able to see that helpful image.
The easier it is, the more people will do it and the better communication we can have! So thank you!
Its not hard to use and is very beneficial for tech info.
By using photoshop or similiar and scaling photos down where possible ... a 640 x 480 can contain multiple images .... so 5 allowed pic in a post each made up of four 320 x 240 pics equals twenty pics per post ...
.... and I hate having to scroll across to see the other side of a photo some one was too lazy to scale down ...
you are really generous dude...I run a server too and can understand the additional loads you will be facing from here onwards..Thanks. Will be signing up for a membership real soon to support you..(would have joined earlier if my WJ didnt need some TLC and of course bigger tires
