Hi all,
I'm a girl, who recently got her first jeep. A 03 jeep grand cherokee limited quadra-drive.
I don't know a lot about fixing cars, but I changed blinker switch by myself today.
I bought skyjacker shocks for my jeep and was just wondering if its really hard to change your shocks by your self.
I would have access to any tools that I need, I just need instructions. I'm sorry I'm posting here, but I don't know how to post treads. Thanks again in advance.

Welcome to JF!!

Ask here

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f310/

It's the WJ tech forum (that's what you have). If you're using the mobile app find models on the list (touch to open), then find where it says Grand Cherokee and Commander (touch to open again), and you'll see the WJ Forum. You should find all the help you need there. Just touch the menu button on your phone and choose "New Thread" and you're good to go.

Enjoy!

Sorry, I will make sure to follow the proper procedure next time. Might I add it does not make one feel very welcome when you openly complain of her unknowing mistake, one reprimand was plenty

Made a jeep help post in the forum support page and he got a "wrong forum - search here" response from someone else.

What year and model?

You can go to the "Models" section and find the proper sub-forum for each and ask your question there (best option), or you can go to "General Technical Discussions" and ask in the "Engines and Drivetrain" sub-forum. Asking in the proper models forum will connect you with other owners of the same model Jeep that you have and give you the best answers.

Also, if you haven't done it yet, fill in your profile (works best from a PC) and tell us all about your Jeep. That will help tell us what you have so we can give you better answers to your questions.

Hint: It isn't an FSJ Cherokee. They stopped making those in 1983.

I love Jeeps. I currently have a Grand Cherokee. I eventually want to own a CJ5.

I have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee. very well kept up, oil is changes every 3000 miles. jeep runs great! I have replaced both up stream and down stream o2 sensors, but I have been having what seems bad gas mileage. I would drive 1 mile in my jeep and the over head display would read lets say 30 miles to empty, by the time I get to that mile on the odometer the over head display would say something like 20 miles till empty and the needle will move along with the overhead display. I was wondering what could be the problem that is causing this. I have no idea what is wrong but when the weather is warmer the jeep seems to get better gas mileage and the overhead and the needle don't seem to move as much.

Welcome to JF!

Please post this over in WJ Grand Cherokee Tech found here:

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f310/

You will put this out there where the other WJ owners can see it and have a better shot at getting the answers you seek.

Also, do you have a CEL or any codes? You can go to places like autozone and they will read them for free (they hope to sell you parts).
