The following are the "Rules" of JeepForum.com. These rules are not etched in stone and can be added to at any time without notice so please check back often. It is your job as a Member to know the up to date rules. You will also find these same rules written specifically for each individual section, updated by the moderators of those sections. The rules will be enforced as required when required.

Golden Rule - Respect Yourself & Others
- Respect yourself and respect others. Civil debate is fine but flaming or outright bickering will not be tolerated.

Keep This a Family Forum
- Topics allowed include anything PG-13 (At Moderators Discretion) No X-Rated pictures, jokes, videos, links, etc. No racist remarks. There will be no tolerance on this.

NO Swearing
- Swearing (including defeating the automatic censor) will not be tolerated.

Search!
- There is a search function - ( http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/search.php )

Do not pad!
- Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such. This only serves to clutter the forums.

Locked or Deleted posts
- If one of your posts is locked or deleted, please do not start another thread dedicated to why it was edited. If you have a problem with your post being locked or deleted, please send a private message to an Admin/Moderator describing the problem.

No Defamatory or Political Signatures
- Leave the polarizing divisive political statements out of your signatures. This is a Jeep Forum and there's no need to push your politics on everyone in every one of your posts.

No Drug or Illegal Related Posts
- Absolutely no threads promoting or condoning illegal drug use or illegal activities.

No Other Website Questions
- Do not post about problems or questions with other websites being down, questioning their rules or advertising for them.

No Raffles or Donation Drives
- Do not use the forum to solicitate. Do not ask for monetary help from users. No raffles or donation drives.

No Spam or Advertising Anything!
- Do not advertise your website/product or product/websites you are affiliated with in any way or shape. If a post is deleted and labeled as advertising then we consider it advertising so please do not post it again.

No Private Message Advertising
- Spamming users using private messages will get you banned no matter who you are. Do not mass advertise through private messages.

Leave if you don't like the way we run it
- Leave the forum if you do not like the website. Staying here only to complain about how you do not like it will only get you banned.

Grow Some Thick Skin
- If you want to participate on an Internet forum then grow some thick skin. There are thousands of armchair quarterbacks ready to pick you apart. There is an ignore function through the forum software and in your head. Use it.

Help Keep This Forum Clean!

• Help us moderate the forum, on ever single message on the left side under the name of the person posting you will find an icon that looks like this: Clicking on that button will allow you to write a detailed message to the moderator (or if there is no moderator, to the administrators) as to why the message needs to be fixed. Please let us know if it is porn, spam, slamming another user or any other details you feel are relevant.

FOR SALE FEEDBACK RULES:

Feedback cannot be edited or removed once it has been left. It generally becomes a permanent part of a member's JeepForum profile and is viewable by the entire JeepForum.com community.

• Members could be held legally responsible for damages to a member's reputation if a court were to find that the remarks constitute libel or defamation. Under federal law (the Communications Decency Act), because JeepForum.com does not censor feedback or investigate it for accuracy, JeepForum.com is not legally responsible for the remarks that members post, even if those remarks are defamatory. However, this law does not protect the person who leaves the
  feedback from responsibility for it.
• JeepForum.com offers members the opportunity to withdraw feedback ratings with a PM by BOTH parties to dakuda.
• No group buys or raffles allowed!

Punishment for violating this policy includes, but is not limited to: permanent ban, temporary ban, loss of For Sale privileges, loss of Feedback priviliges.

Feedback that doesn't meet any of the reasons outlined below will not be removed:

• JeepForum.com is provided with a valid court order finding that the disputed feedback is slanderous, libelous, defamatory or otherwise illegal.
• The feedback comment contains profane, vulgar, obscene, or racist language or adult material. Inflammatory language, such as "fraud, liar, cheater, scam artist, con man" etc., while strongly discouraged, will not be removed.
• The feedback comment contains personal identifying information about another member, including real name, address, phone number, or e-mail address.
• The feedback comment contains links or scripts.
• Negative feedback intended for another member will be considered for removal only in situations where the member responsible for the mistaken posting informs JeepForum.com of the error and has already placed the same feedback for the correct member.
• Feedback left by a member who provided JeepForum.com with false contact information and could not be contacted.
• Feedback left by a member who bid on or purchased an item solely to have the opportunity to leave negative feedback for the seller, with no intention of completing the transaction.
• Feedback left by users who are banned for certain policy violations. JeepForum.com takes the position that members who are banned for certain reasons shouldn't be able to permanently impact another member's profile.

MEMBERS WITH A RATING OF -5 WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED TO POST IN THE FOR SALE SECTIONS
