Any chance for a Yj non tech section?

Our little Yj tech section is going through a ten ovation and our esteemed moderators are doing an amazing job of cleaning house there just isn't a place to put some of the non tech yet 100% Yj specific threads. How about a /f121/ to accompany the /f12/ section?

Thanks,
Nick

Wrangler GD: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f176/

You can do things the right way or the wrong way.
Or you can do it MY way...which is like the wrong way, only faster.

The Wrangler GD covers several models unlike the link above. Just curious that's all.

The cherokee non tech covers all xj's and comanche's. The xj's we never called anything other than xj through the years, unlike the wranglers.

XJ/Cherokee ('84-'01) and MJ/Comanche ('86-'92)

YJ ('87-'95), TJ ('97-'06), JK ('07-Present)

- HM1(SW/AW)Ret USN Dec 23,1992 to Dec 31, 2012

I drive an XJ, and all of my power windows work :)

2000 Pontiac WS6 - DD
DD (Mine) Sold - 98 XJ Moss Green
(His) - 92 YJ December 2013 YJOTM

Sold - 95 ZJ
Sold - 97 XJ Red
Sold - 98 XJ

But the problem I have with this is that though sold under the same model name, they are in fact three completely separate, and vastly different vehicles. More often than not I will have a question on parts availability or what have you, that, while YJ specific is not truly technical. Consequently I am forced to post in Wrangler GD only to have my question go unanswered and get lost in the mire; a YJ GD subsection would solve this.

I think that would create too many Forums if we were to add a non-tech forum for each model.

I understand that, but there is the same situation with XJs, not all years parts are compatible. In fact My jeep uses 98-01 parts. Its the same with our YJ too, parts need to be 92-95.

But i think 98 said it best.. Too many to keep dividing.

It doesn't seem to be a problem for the Grand Cherokee section which covers 4 models that are all very different from each other.
