jealous here too, i live out in the country but any land out here is all farm land, not much for places to wheel and any spots we do have are getting really sketchy anymore with trespassing

Being in So.Cal most trails are about 1-2 hours away (JV included). When I have something new to test I usually go to a little spot called Cleghorn or Azusa Canyon Offroad Park. They are both about 30 minutes away from me. Cleghorn has a lot of great spots to flex your Jeep out and check for any rubbing or anything like that, lots of steep and off camber hills too. Azusa has a cool new rock obstacle course they built out there and it's actually pretty challenging. They have a mudpit down the in canyon and its fun to watch people get stuck in vehicles of all types. I rarely go to Azusa though because they charge you to play when there are a billion other trails for free out here.

The Cascade Mountain Range in WA State is about 1.5 hours away from my house. That's were I go for camping and Jeeping 90% of the time.

There is a BLM ORV dunes area about 15 minutes from the house for quick play days and testing new equipment.

I often go to a little area about a half mile from the house. Mostly trails, but a few hills for a challenge to test out repairs and new equipment.
