I use 4 eye bolts mounted to the ceiling and 4 tie downs on each corner. Pull the straps on the tie downs and up goes the top. It's easier with two people. At least I imagine it would be easier with two people. I always do it by myself.

Here are pictures of the one that I built a few years ago. There is a hand winch attached to the wall that I don't show. Yes I have to take down the garage opener, but this is done once in November to get the top down and once in March/April to put it back up. It's really pretty easy.
