Bone stock except for the shackle lift and shocks. 2.5L She's my beach cruiser. You big bada$$ off roaders be nice....

I like it!
Soooooo clean.
I'm a sucker for white Jeeps lol. And I've been a big fan of the white/tan as of late.

Don't those 33s run while driving? I have slightly more clearance than you have with my 31s on stock suspension right now, and even they rub going over big bumps in the road.

You should consider a Daystar 1" BL. It'll help clear those tires a wee bit more and only set you back about $150.00. I know you're not wheeling, but those are pretty stuffed. I'd hate to see you mess up a fender or something. That Jeep is way too clean to do that!

Oh and did you regear for those 33s or still running the stock 4.10s?

Thanks for sharing.
Oh and your bumper sticker is sooooo awesome.

Cheers

The tires do not rub. They have in the past. When I bought it, the PO had already put the lift on it. (Shackles) They left the stock shocks in it. As a result, every time the rear shocks fully extended, the mounts on the axle were jerked until they broke. For a while, I was running around on nothing but the leaf springs. (That was fun going over a bridge.....) The tires would bottom out in the fender wells. Unfortunately causing exactly what you are concerned about.... It also has rubbed out spots in my fender flares.

This is actually the one thing keeping me from repainting her. (Still has the original paint job.) Gonna have to cut those panels out and weld some good ones in most likely. Maybe I'll get lucky and find someone who can straighten em out? I don't believe the metal is creased.

So, I upgraded the shocks and welded new mounts on the axle. Fixed. I also had a small problem with the front tires rubbing on the leaf springs when the wheel was turned all the way left or right. At the time, I had Bridgestone Dueler M/T's on it. They have more of a square look from sidewall to tread. The Trxus M/T's I have on there now (and a couple sets I have had in between) are more rounded and do not rub.

I HATE HATE HATE body lifts. I don't like the look of how it exposes more of the frame. Besides, I like how the tires completely fill the fender wells.

I did not regear. Still running stock. Speedo is off 11% due to it. But, who cares. She's mine and I will drive her till the last bit of rust holding her together gives out.

Funny, the only person who doesn't like my sticker is my wife..... Sign of a good sticker, right?

Thanks haha!
I loved the look of that YJ. A LOT.
I always loved parking next to all the TJs. The square headlights alone look pretty mean IMO, but with the teeth and the angry eyes, super mean! All the big, round, TJ headlights look scared next to my rig! Like they just got surprised by something lol.

Love me some square lights...

Cheers
