Sorry I forgot about this thread. Thanks for reviving again. I think I will now mount mine on a roof rack I think it will be too heavey to sit on the hood.

Hope to see some other pics though as I have not yet fully decided against this.

Funds r a little tight right now so I have ordered a 3" lift to start. I think im gonna trim up the fenders and put 32" Dunlop mud rovers under there. I will be building or having a friend build a roof rack. I think I will have to stuff the hilift up there. I would still like to see pics of it on the hood. I love the idea of it.

Hey when funds get better get the 2" spacer and shackles then you'll have 5" of lift they wont run you that much.

I think im gonna go ahead and mount the hi-lift on the hood soon. Im gonna fab up some mounts hopefully they wont turn out like when i put the tj bushwackers on my xj...

Yea that was a little off. Do you still have them on? They would look ok with some monster mudders under em.
Yea i think for sure Im gonna do a BB as well. prob just 1" and stick to 32s for now. its still my DD.

Cant wait to see pics of it mounted on your hood. I give you props for sure for not hesitating to try things specially with the flares.
