hey, thanks for the pic. question, now with the rustys 3" is there anything that has to be changed, or added to, or can you just throw it on and poof its lifted? thats whats stopping me from the 3 in cuz i have the money but if anything else extra has to go on it then i dunno.

thanks

Well, for a real solid setup you'd need things like a SYE and driveshaft, control arms, trackbar, extended brake lines, bumpstops, and a few other things.

I just bought the kit, threw it on, and poof, I was done. I got the Rusty's AAL kit for $240 including shocks.

Eventually I plan on going bigger, and at that time I'll get all those other things that should go along with a lift. But if you want a cheap lift, this would be the way to go. I love it. It seems to ride smoother than before, probably because of the new shocks, and has handled everything I've thrown at it so far offroad.

If you do have the extra money, go with full packs though. The only reasons I didn't was because I didn't have enough money, and in another year when college gets done, I'll be redoing it all anyways.

Anyone with the Rustys AAL have sag problems? I was gonna get the RE lift, but its only 2" and costs almost as much as the Rustys 3" AAL. How quickly did it take for the leafs to sag? Anyone running a TC drop or anything?

I don't know if i'd call it a problem...but It will sag. Mine hasn't quite yet, but I know it will. Trust me, you'll definately appreciate full packs. Once you get the AAL, you'll want the full packs. Save up some money, you'll thank yourself for it later.

I have a TC drop with mine, and there are no vibes.

Good luck.

I can afford the full packs right now, but dont really want to spend 500 bucks on a lift. and i was just thinking maybe get the 3" rustys aal since it was just a little more than the RE lift i was looking at.

I say def spend the extra for a full pack, AALs always sag, after time. Goodluck.

With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy.
