XJ tube doors/bumpers

getting ready to build some tube doors and bumpers for my 2 door XJ. lets see what what you all have made. i know what i can buy, and i can build for 10% of the cost i can buy a bumper for,. so what do you have? bumpers will be first, the doors will come in the very near future.

no offense leftlane, but just a question. what is that bumper protecting? it appears the hatch actually sticks out farther than the bumper does.

it looks to be nicely done, but does not appear to protect much.

Not really protecting anything. It was his birthday gift, and that is what he wanted!
Here is the one on my junk which does protect it, but you wanted tube style bumpers...

I was referring to the one on your rig. When you decide to sell them let me know.

My Rigidco FbG with BG11 grille guard. Just had a friend help me install a winch in it. We cut out the top of the bumper and modified a winch plate to fit in it. Had to cut out the grille a bunch, but it was definitely worth it, looks great and my approach angle is exactly the same as before.

Dcorn, that is pretty much how i wanted mine to turn out. but after cutting, bending, and welding the first angle it sucked lol. so i went with just a single angle on it, but i really wanted it to come up as well as back much like yours.

but i did modify mine some today. installed a reciever hitch in it, and painted it OD green
