X size lift with X size tires. TJ Jeeps only

Alrighty, here's the deal.. I'm looking at buying my first car sometime soon. I'm a 19 year old guy who loves being outside. Conclusion: I need a Jeep Wrangler. Finding a Wrangler isn't the big problem, aside from wishing I had about 10k more saved up, haha. I'm looking for some pics of Jeeps sitting on level ground, with different size lifts and tires. I know nothing about the tech specs with different lift kits and tires, but I want to learn! I'm trying to figure out if it would be better to find and buy a Jeep that already has a lift, or if I got a stock wrangler with nasty little stock tires could I lift it easily and correctly without breaking the bank? Remember, I'm 19 and paying for college out of pocket. Ramen Noodles are my best friend.

So here's what I need:

1) Pics of Jeep Wrangler TJ's. No YJ's or JK's, on level ground.

2) Give me the info on the lift kit and tire size so I can decide what I want to get when I buy a Jeep.

I think that's about it! Thanks for all the help! I'm looking forward to joining the Jeep community!!

Ok, I've still got a few questions... I know nothing about lifts. I like the look of a Wrangler with 32's and a 4 inch body lift. What's the difference between a suspension lift and a body lift? Are those the only 2 types of lifts? I want something that looks beefy, but is also still smooth riding on the road. I'm pretty much set on 32's... Help?

stay away from big body lifts. if you want to run 32s go with a 2 inch suspension lift. if you not lookin to spend alot of cash do a budget boost lift

What do you think of the yellow jeep with no doors on it? Is that a good lift?

my opinion is start out stock if you dont know anything about vehicles, then work your way up as you get more comfortable with it...

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured... I saw a picture on here of a 2000 Sport with Rubicon wheels and tires and no lift. I think I've decided what I want, haha.

Rough county 2.5 inch lift kit full suspention with the new preformance 2.2 shocks and progressive rate coil springs....better then factory ride. the tires are stock, so i can still get some flex over logs and things without ripping my rig up.... and lets be honest, big tires are expensive lol.

Man, both those Jeeps look really nice. I can't wait until I've got my own. I'm saving every penny, hopefully I'll have enough to buy a nice one by spring break next year.

Believe me, you don't like 4" body lifts, especially since there is no such thing as one. A body lift raises the body up off of the frame. It's a "secondary" type lift for a bit more clearance and tucking ability (tummy tuck, gas tank tuck). You like 4" suspension lifts....that raises the frame/body further away from the axles. But let's think about this.....that still doesn't get your lowest points off of the ground any further. That's where tires come in. Quit putting the label on lift and think about tires.

2.5" lift, 1" body lift, 35's.

Augh, sorry. I mistyped that. I meant to say I liked the look of a 2 inch lift (suspension I guess) with 32's. I'm really not sure what I'll do when I get a Jeep. I'm going to take the advice from here and get one that is completely stock, and build it from scratch. I'm going to college full time and working 1-2 days a week. I plan to have about 10k to spend on a Jeep by spring break next year.

By the way, your Jeep looks awesome. How does it handle on the road? I thought that the bigger tires you had the rougher the ride was....
