Corpus Christi has the Padre Island National SeaShore (known as PINS). I think the pics above are from an area called little shell, further down is big shell. Its about 60 miles of beach and very secluded.

Any beach on South Padre Island which is a huge stretch of beach that goes pretty much goes along the whole coast, it does require a parking permit which is good for the whole year and it is illegal to go in the dunes.

South Jetty Florence OR. As you can see from our jackets the top was on for a reason- 40 degrees and 20 mph wind is not good top off beach running - unless you want your face sandblasted
