here is my friend jay's rig. 1993 YJ /chevy 350/nv4500/atlas 2/4 link rear/35 spline dana 60s. 42 inch tsl's on hummer beadlocks


sadly he has not had the time to make it out wheeling in a LONG time. He is getting his side business rolling and hopefully he will be back out on the trail soon

What kind of suspension is that? couldn't see leafs or coils in the pics. saw something that looked like a leaf

I was gettin' ready to add that pic to the list...

The guy in the pic is NOT the owner of that CJ...he just has an '04 F150 with 9" of lift and little ol' 37" MT/Rs...

a friend named Scott owns the TJ on 49" Iroks...same guy that made my half doors and LCA skids...

yea those tires are pretty large. what mods did he have to do to the suspention to stuff those in there?

he built it himself...he's had that Jeep since he bought it brand new from the dealer...

those are 53's i wheeled with him a few months ago, and thats the only time that i have ever see n a t-case explode

1/4 elipitical suspension. most dont understand that when leaves are set up properly they are the chit.

glad you posted that...I'd forgotten about the guy I saw at Tellico in March:







...I think I remember them saying it had around 26" of clearance at the axle, thanks to the tire size and the portal axles...



and the other guy with the 49" (I think) Iroks and Rockwells we see playing at Uwharrie occasionally:
