Stylists/designers, not engineers, come up with the appearance. The engineers are stuck trying to make it work.

lol, spot on is right. that new Cherokee is ugly as sin. i don't know who thought, "oh yea that looks good send that baby to market", but they should be demoted to janitor.

It probably would be a lot better received if it was not a Jeep. Criteria for designing a new Jeep: Must have actually ridden off road in an old Jeep.
