Man Cave aka "The Dog House". We split the cave 50/50, I pay and build everything, and she drinks my booze and naps on the sofa when a power tool is running.

Verboten,

Awesome garage! You could probably live in there if you had to

Hey, are you anywhere near the strongsville, avon lake or westlake area. I am moving to ohio around august and those are a few of the areas that i have liked so far.

last time i was in ohio, i started talking with a guy at chipotle who had a nice jk in the pakring lot. he turned me on to jeepschool.com, offroad club. i looked up the website and it seems cool. by chance are you a member or ever gone wheeling with them?

Thanks,

There was no ceiling, insulation or paneling when I started so I have a lot of hours getting it just right for me. I do a lot of wrenching out there.

I'm on the west side of the state, so I don't have any experience with the areas that you mentioned or the jeep club.

I just recently got back into a TJ about 4 months ago.

Here's my introduction post from yesterday.

Thanks.

I have built 3 for other people since I built mine. I added one for a guy on a custom house I built and it is 1500 sq ft with 3 Plasma's, full kitchen and cost over $100k to build-including the pool.

Some of the components have changed, but it still looks pretty much like this. The 100" screen is perfect for my 11 foot viewing distance, and I have plenty of wattage on the audio side of things to drive the all magnetic planar speaker array. The system is somewhat music biased.

And for you motor heads, the red car is a factory 911 C4.

3.6 liter horizontally opposed flat 6 cylinder with soild lifters, twin distributors and twin plugs per cylinder. Full time ALL WHEEL drive. It even has a switch that locks up the diffs and then kicks them out above 35 MPH. Top speed is over 165.

So With my 4 banger TJ, I probably have one of the slowest and one of the fastest 4 wheelers in the county.

Pics attached.

Is that a little propane ventless heater on the wall? If so, how do you like it? I've been thinking about getting one of those for my garage.

It's actually natural gas, but same difference. I think I bought that at Lowes and it was pretty simple to set up and run the line. If I recall its about 30,000 BTU which is fine for the garage. It has a built in thermostat and I like that better with the cost of fuel, than the 3 panel designs, where you don't have as much control on the low settting. If the power goes out, we go to the garage.

Thanks.....I put a set of Blizzaks on it and drive it in the winter. It has rediculous traction. It will send up to 70% of the torque to the wheel with traction. However, the 4 inches of road clearance is an issue. It's big brother, my track car will hit the rev limiter in 5th gear at over 180.

Thanks,

Ken

Its a fitting instrument to transport the free people of a free nation with the respect to which we are entitled and the dignity that we deserve.
