That looks like a machine for ripping up the top off of ashphalt for road resurfacing.

I do not have a picture of it but a Geo Metro with super swampers and the doors ripped off. We found this smart car at Yankee Boy basin in Ouray.

Haha, I drove up there last summer. If I recall correctly one route to the Sneffles trailhead was much less rough than the other. Looks like he's trying to make a statement.
