jeeep on back bumper

This jeep was in mcdavid fl trying to make new hill, She tryed it several times, on her last try it came up set on back bumper fot over 5 mim. till they copuld get winch hooked up and pulled down, no one was hurt or any jeep damage, she calmed down and tryed hill again and went up it.

That's what I thought at first, but after digging shafts they just hollowed out the center of the hill. There is a deep lake, pond, whatever you want to call it that is about 75'-100' deep. Maybe they used it to pump out the water?

Great thread. Funny that I used to live in both Fairbanks, Alaska and Barstow, CA just like a couple of previous posters. Both were fun places to wheel. Nothing unusual except that I once found a grizzly munching on a moose (kept driving, of course). Pretty common in AK.

Could still be an air pump. It is soft rock there correct? But the water pump seems plausible after seeing the pictures.

On the beach after a hurricane...



There was near some railroad tracks but proabably a couple hundred feet so kinda odd...like they forgot to cut it up and haul it off.
