yes when going through deep water you run the risk of having the fan pull itself forward into the radiator as well. Deep water will slowly kill the fan clutch as well. If you know you are going to deep water on a regular basis then an electric fan should be at the top of your list.

The reason I said he could shove the radiator into the fan is the force in which he is hitting the water. It can drive the whole grill assemble back even if it's a inch sometimes that is enough for the fan to catch it.

He's got about 4"-5" of lift and 34s. Had to winch him out
