I'll take some pics asap of my install.
Compressor is under the hood and the tank is behind the seat.

I was wondering which would be better, Viair OBA or a Powertank?

My main purpose would be to air up my tires.

Here's mine:

I don't have AC, so I made some brackets and mounted the Viair compressor where the AC compressor normally sits.

The tank is under the driver's side next to the driveshaft.

I replaced the drain valve with a plug shortly after I installed it. I just didn't have it in the pic. I've only gotten a few light scrapes on the tank in the few years it's been down there.

Yes. The bolts come up in the rear passenger footwell.

Well got the kit today and my air pumps for my lockers are in the way to mount the tank under rear passengers feet. Because I hav a rubicon. Has anyone mounted the tank under the hood? My stock intack is gone so I hav some room. I'm jus worried about heat from engine. Is that an issue?

Just get rid of the stock pumps, get a regulator for your new pump and plumb it into your lockers. You might have to get new switches though.

Ive got my Viair mounted under the brake booster plumbed into my rear bumper which i converted to an air tank. I like the setup, my bumper leaks, since it was my first welding project, but It works dandy for airing up tires. It will be powering a rear ARB whenever I can afford one as well.

Hey 4xfriend how did you mount your air line quick disconnects? I have the compressor mounted under the power brake can and the tank mounted where yours is, but don't know how to mount the qd's.

I have one quick disconnect mounted just inside the driver's door.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic
