have done that for 40+ years... that is why built this thing , no more worries about sleeping anywhere anytyme. city, suburb, rest area, woods, desert, swamp, mountains, you name it.

If you have the hardtop with any kind of sleeper on the roof, you lose the ability to go topless. With an RV to pull your rig, you have all the creature comforts of home after a good hard days wheeling.

And for those that want to camp when 500 miles up a Jeep only trail that an RV can't go...Tent!

Personally, if the weather's nice enough, I like to sleep in my Hennessy Hammock HENNESSY HAMMOCKS.com: ultra-light line of jungle hammocks, ultra-comfortable camping hammock /chair/ tent combo or if it's raining, just a tent. I have a bed at home. It's something to look forward to when the trip's over and campin and roughing it adds to the adventure that our sport is.
