Trail worthy with no lift!

I plan on keeping my tj at stock height so I can keep it parked in the garage...but I want to use it like a Jeep should be used!

I wheeled my TJ pretty well back when it was stock on 31's:

Just a poser pic, but gives you a decent idea:

you can easily fit upto 35" tires (although not necessary) with the use of aftermarket tube fenders (see Metalcloak). Quick discos and you'll get some more articulation. You really "need" any of that to go out and have fun on trails... just dont get in over your head.

Next to none. My garage is under the house

The bigger tires, even without lift will still make the jeep taller, but I like the way you think Once I have my other garage built, this is the way I think.

It really sucks cleaning off a foot of snow at 2am when I get called into work, so being able to park in the garage is really nice.

how about a tummy tuck, you can gain 3" by getting rid of that shovel. add some other armor and have fun.

also, if you plan on going bigger eventually, you can start prepping for it.

adj control arms, steering, brakes, AR, tube fenders, etc.

1" body lift. You're gonna need it anyway

i use to run my jeep everywhere when it was stock, until i got stuck one to many times and decided to add alittle bit of lift and some bigger tires to hopefully eliminate getting stuck as often. but you can have so much fun with just a stock jeep .

Tucking everything up and covering it will be key. Rockers, TT, GTS, diff skids, and steering box skid. Sorry for no pictures. Between tires and lift, I'm 6" higher.

Darn right. 13,000 feet up. Ya you don't need a lift and big tires. You just need a JEEP. But I did lift it and I'm going to get bigger tires. Haha
