TJ's w/ OME 2.5" Lift on 31's No body lift.

Hi all,

I'm seriously considering going with DPG's Ultimate OME kid without body lift or motor mount lift to fit 31's. It's going to be a DD so I want to keep my 31 a/t's for a while to keep the MPG's semi-reasonable.

I've searched countless threads, but most seem to have the body lift installed. Any pics of TJ's with the 2.5" lift Without the BL and on 31's would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You might already know this, but you don't need a lift to fit 31's on your Jeep...they'll fit stock. Given that your profile says you have 1" coil spacers, you've got plenty of room.

I'm quite aware. I want a good all around DD/ weekend worrier and I feel the OME 2.5" lift done correctly with DPG's kit is the best way to set me up for today and whatever lies ahead. Thanks tho

The Ultimate kit is really nice. However I did do some changes to it. (AntiRock for one.)

This is with an added front 3/4" spacer and on 32" MTRs. The ride is really nice. In fact it rides better off-road then stock. I went with the HD springs, btw.

Wow, those 32's look nice! If I had unlimited money and another car as a DD... this would be the end setup for me. But with the dreaded 3.07 gears and no extra car, 31's will due just fine for now. And I think they'll look and ride great with the kit. I am happy to spend the money on the kit- a firm believer in 'do it once, do it right'... So a few more years and my TJ will look close to yours thanks for the pics. Still like to see some on 31s. And input about the kit as well.

I love my OME set up. Rides great on road, even on long (1000 mile +) trips. It rides great off road too.

I'm running 32's also, put them on before the lift, so I don't have a pic of the lift with 31's....but here it is anyway.

Selling isn't an option- I love my TJ. And I've seen a few pics scattered throughout the forum with 31's. IMO it's perfect for the look I like and how I drive it. There has to be more out there with this setup! Lets see 'em

Jeffro06- You have my dream jeep lol. I will slowly gravitate towards building something similar. But like I said, for now 31's are max for me... at least until I re-gear, which could be a few years down the road.
