TJs and Smittybilt Bumpers

I want to see TJs with either a smittybilt front bumper or rear tire swingout and any likes or dislikes about both.

The classic or the tube style?

Got a dirt cheap deal on the bumpers- front and rear for $75 each (no tire carrier though). Thinking about cutting the ends and rewelding them to be a stubby on the front.

You can see how far it sticks out in front...

No swing out carrier on mine...

I like the tube front but classic rear w/ tire carrier. The tube front one sticks out a lot though. Not sure

Not far enough to cause any problems.

I have the front and rear.

They give you some of the protection of a stinger without the 3' of bulkiness sticking out so far. You have the best of both.

Does the tube rear bumper (src model) stick down lower than the stock one?

Anyone with the classic smittybilt rear w/ tire carrier?

Here is a D-ring in a stock receiver hitch for comparison.

I have the SRC classic tire carrier...I love it now that it is SECURELY bolted to my jeep. You have to measure and drill additional holes in the rear cross member to make this thing fit right. If you don't bolt it on correctly, it will loosen itself (now loctited) and squeak when you flex. It is SOLID now, I really love it!
