TJ with stock flares minus smaller front flares

Looking to take mine off, but I need to compare whats under mine with yours. Preferrably no sliders, guards, etc

Are you referring to the 1" hole with the plastic covering it?

yea if so those are called flare extensions. heres mine with stock flares:



it looks much better with some rocker guards

crap. I know someone out there knows, wheres ye olde Mods at?

I'm really gona hate to have to drop 300 on sliders just to cover it up. And that grip tape trick, no thanks.

Does anyone know if it is exactly a 1" hole? I was thinking you could get some 1" plastic caps to cover them.

haha yea i was kidding. idk what the hole is for. mine is covered up by my rocker guards. no unwanted things going in my two holes

im pretty sure i read somewhere on here that that hole was put there for assembly purposes

i read the same thing too... something about that's where one of the automated robot arms go while it's either being assembled or painted. then again, maybe we're just not supposed to ask...!

i used rocker gaurd tape, cut it down, just enough to cover the hole. its been a year still holding up
