Your jeep is like your kid
They drive you crazy and are expensive,
And you still love them

Stock wheels (still) with no lift (yet) and bumper ends removed. Took about 20 min.

Hello, I had a fellow jeeper stop me at a gas station yesterday and ask where I got my flares and requested an instructional so here it is.

It wasn't bad at all. I taped off exactly where I wanted to cut with masking tape (make sure your lines are pretty straight). Then took a dremel with a small metal saw blade attachment and trimmed them pretty easy. Make a second pass with a debur tool or the sander attachment to clean up the edges a little bit.

Clean the fenders with soap and water then dry. I used mcmaster#8507k21 for the trim. 25ft is plenty for all four. Place the trim on the fender and cut to size. Take some Amazing Goop and smear it on the edge of the fender...i used gloves and a small wooden popsicle stick. Then apply the rubber trim. Make sure you press it on there good and that there is good contact. Clean up any splooge with popsicle stick or similar. Use some small clamps to ensure the trim stays on there good for cure. I believe it takes the goop 12-24 hours to dry. That's all she wrote

Did my 98 Sahara with painted flares. Was going to paint black but I liked the way they looked as is. The trim makes it look 1000x better. here's before and after

Cut a 1.25" out of mine.

Finished the edges with door trim molding.
