here's my rear trimmed, (about 2" trimmed off or so), I'm on 2" suspension and 1.25" body and now 35" tires.

Just cut mine, used a box cutter with a hook blade, just need to sand and repaint. What do y'all think?

Are most folks leaving the flares on the jeep when trimming them or are you taking them off to trim them?

Left mine on

I left mine on, it seemed way easier to just leave them on, I wouldn't have to worry about holding them or clamping them to anything while I cut. That, and I'm lazy.

here is how mine looked when I bought it. 2"BB with 265/75 R16's ( just shy of 32" ) With the sway bar disconected the tires would rub the front fender flares while flexed out.



The first mod I made was to trim the front bumper and the Fender flares. No more rubbing while disconected.

I had a set of sahara flares I cut up. Liked them when I did them but now I cut the fender and ditched the flares.
