I thought they were aluminum? Or at least had an aluminum one?

They are definitely not heavy... And won't cause any dents, but there is no one who would be taking it off after an install anyways to see any dents as they will only see giant holes.

It is made of aluminum. Very light weight for its size.

Haha thanks guys. I figured if it was true it'd be more widely known. But when I saw this thread I figured it never hurts to ask. This is a mod I very much want to do! Fairly in expensive and has good pro/con.

And I'm glad to hear its aluminum.

Thanks, I've personally never cared for the all blacked out look, that's
why I went that route.

Poison Spyder Question

Has anyone had their PS louvers in hail? ...Or how do you think they would hold up in a hailstorm?

To all the people worrying about rainwater, considering I wash my engine with a pressure washer and have never had any issues, I really doubt a few drops of water from a hood louver will hurt anything.

The water will not hurt you. Notice how the engine compartment is open from below? Notice how people cross streams in jeep all the time. This is the biggest thing I hear about my hood louver and think it is funny.
