TJ OR-Fab or Bestop Tire carrier (on body tub)

I'm curious to see some pics, it doesn't seem like many people run the body mounted swing away tire carriers.

I'm also interested in this. I've heard bad things about hanging stuff to the body metal, but has anyone actually tried it?

I have had the Bestop carrier for 3 years or so now (its getting hard to keep track!). My ONLY complaint is that the top most adjusting bolt behind the tire works its self loose every few months. Quick tug on it and it is all good.

TnT customs. Not one of the two you mentioned, but worth taking a look at. It fits between ORFab and Bestop price wise.

Jerry Bransford has the ORFab one as well and from what all I read, really likes it.

Keep moving forward. But keep an eye on history, for if you don't, you are doomed to repeat it.

I got the Bestop carrier from my wonderful wife at Christmas, but I haven't put it on yet.

I've read a lot of good things about that carrier on this forum. Everybody speaks pretty highly of it, so I got it. Hopefully they weren't playing a dirty trick on me.

Bestop Highrock tire carrier.

Pros:
fairly inexpensive
keeps use of tailgate
easy to install
keeps factory third brake light

Cons:
tailigate tends to become hard to open
no attachments for accessories

Here is my Bestop carrier. I liked the OR-FAB but it wasn't in the budget. I am not disappointed with the Bestop, though, and like how it makes the tailgate tighter.

Wow, thanks for the replies guys, keep'em coming, I hadn't checked in a couple days, because I started school, it was a nice surprise, to have some pics to look at, I'm really considering one of these when the time comes for a tire carrier.
