Third Brake Light Spacer

Hey i just wanted to know how tall i need to cut a section of p.v.c pipe to accomadate a 33" tire and still use the third brake light. Has anyone done this and does anyone have pictures of this?

Before I installed my 3rd brake light in the middle of my spare tire, I raised the OEM light 1" with 4 1" nylon spacers that I purchased from Home Depot. Here is the write-up I used from 4x4xplor's site.
