Stock TJ dual catalytic converters

I'm trying to find out what the stock dual catalytic converters coming off of the engine look like. I had mine replaced immediately after I bought my Jeep due to a check engine light and since then I've noticed the engine seems to be choking in moderately higher RPMs. Looking at partstrain.com, they have 2 different ones listed. A Catco and an Eastern Catalytic. The Eastern definitely seems like it would flow considerably better but mine was replaced with the Catco which is a pretty poor design. Now I'm curious what the stock is more like. Thanks!

Eastern Catalytic

Catco

That would make sense. I can't imagine them putting something awful looking like the Catco on there from the factory. I may have that redone with some mandrel bends just for peace of mind.

Judging by the size of the 2 cats I'd say those are like the Eastern Catalytic.

I think the 99 or something to 2002 had the Catco version, and the 2003-2006 had the Eastern version. Part of me wants to say that the 97-98 had more than 2 cats up there as well but that may be incorrect... I'm not as knowledgable on the earlier TJs.

I know looking under a friend's 99 TJ he had a different cat setup than mine(2003).

Mine look like the Eastern.

A 99 just has 1 large cat doesn't have the 2 pre cats.
