tip of the stinger, where the 3 holes are....the welds are spaced out. just thought it would have looked cleaner if they went around the whole area.

I used the transfer case drop pucks/body lift pucks supplied from rough country to raise the lights up a bit, those are stock fog lights with the stock mounting bracket thing so I used a longer bolt to accomodate for the increase in height. I did have to drill small holes, one on each side, for the bolt to pass through. The bolts do not interfere with the ends of the stinger or anything else for that matter on the inside of the bumper. As you can see, they are almost exactly as wide as the bumper and I have yet to hit them with anything and I do go on some pretty tight trails.

also, has anyone considered getting rid of the 3-hole plate at the apex of the stinger? I think it may look a little better without it.

I will pass along as little secret. Get all your Smittybilt products at Summit racing. Way cheaper then most anyone. Also, $12.95 shipping!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now the stinger is only $169.

I just ordered rear fender/corners with flares for $189 for the full corners and $109 for the flare, Xr8 competition Series (rope instead of cable) $487. ALL shipped for $12.95!!!! I know you can get the winch for $450 sometimes at 4wd, but shipping is higher. You just have to be patient it takes about 3 weeks to get smittybuilt stuff from them. They do not stock it, it is all direct shipped from Smittybilt. Worth the wait!

I got the front tube fenders w/3" flare for under $300 a few weeks ago!! Price them out at other places!
