![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() OK so I got it yesterday. Came in a box that was pretty banged up. The paint flakes off pretty easily. Mine was scratched up pretty good. (I emailed 4wdh and am waiting on a response). Biggest problem, initially, was the drivers side was bent a little making it impossible to slip onto the frame. I had to manhandle it a bit to bend it back straight. Got it to slip on and bolted the 4 top bolts in. Then I saw that the bottom bolt holes werent even CLOSE. My solution is going to be to have someone run 2 welds on the bottom to the frame. All in all, Its very stout. The paint flakes off and chips very easily. Fitting was an issue. BUT for a $193 bumper, Im pretty happy. Ill hold onto it but buyer beware: you might run into some of the issues I did.

Those are Jeep TJ factory tow hooks. I think they came on most if not all Rubicons. If you like them they are not to hard to find most people remove them but I always thought they were pretty stout and looked good.

I have the smitty winch plate and XRC 8 winch, with this being a smitty bumper everything should fit, Right? If any one has this setup I would love to see some pictures.

Why are so many of you buying the smitty crap. It doesn't really even look nice, that wrinkle finish they use makes it look...cheap...I would recommend the PSC for people that want a stinger, it appears to be a much better build quality and it is pretty much the same price...
![]() And maybe it's just me but I think the PSC is much more attractive as well. (BTW this trip was literally the day after I received the bumper so I hadn't got a chance to paint it yet)

edit: it doesn't look like it is on their website but if you just call them like I did they should be able to hook you up. They're great guys to deal with and their product is even better from my experience.

I like the PSC, though I, myself bought an Olympic stinger used. As for the Smitybuilt, something about it getting damaged during shipping should make you wonder. I'm either or on the looks of the Smitybuilt, looks like they're trying somthing different, I give them a nod for that. The only way to tell if it's worth the money is if it survives the trail...
