SOA YJ's with 33's or 35's

The title says it! trying to get an idea on what a spring over will look like on a YJ with a set of 33 inch tires or 35 inch tires, Happy Jeeping!

Sweet! Thats a good looking YJ you got there, each picture had more and more upgrades haha, how was it with 33's? I'm wanting to do a spring over on mine and wasnt sure if i should keep the smaller tires

Thanks, yep, its been a work in progress since I got it in '95.

I did the SOA in '01 and at the time, I had a fresh set of 33" TSL's when it was SUA which measure ~33.6" tall.

It did okay with the 33's & didn't look too bad since they were close to the size of alot of 35's. It was already geared to 4.56 & had F&R ARB's, so I tossed an 8.8 in it back in '01 which was long before most folks knew about installing an 8.8 in a Jeep.

I did stretch the front wheelbase some (~1") and widened the front axle with a hub conversion kit which help make it a little more stable. Those modifications were done several years ago as well, all of which is changed now.

Here's mine on 35s. Most specs in sig. 1" longer HD shackles, 1.25" JKS body lift, TJ flares.
