Silver Jeeps with black wheels

Since my aluminum rims are a ***** to keep clean and such, I'm thinking about Duracoating them flat black when I get the chance. But I don't know how it'll look. So, anybody got pics of silver TJs with black rims? Preferably ones with Canyon rims and 32" tires.

if you're concerned with keeping your wheels looking clean, flat black is the worst you can do. it will show EVERYTHING very easily.

Sorry, by clean, I meant more keeping the rust and oxidation down. As they are, they rust to black in no time at all, so I'd rather just paint all of them black and stop worrying about it.

I've got American Racing Rims, 8inch wide. I like them, they look good and haven't given me any issues :P... easy to keep clean too.

I got it from www.mudinyeri.com, but they aren't there anymore. But I have heard they can be found on ebay.

I've heard you can sandblast aluminum wheels, paint them silver, then clearcoat them and they look like new. Might be worth a try if you want to stay with the aluminum color.

Thanks.

I am going to stay with the black, don't want to paint the armor, and silver look, so I will keep the wheels black.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear at all. The part about the paint was to the person who made this thread(marauder pilot). Black wheels look great on your ride, as does the black armor.

No problem, and thanks again for the compliments.
