I blame it on all the more recent emissions requirements. Mainly on the DPF. This truck gets between 11 and 13 mpg, and that's empty. My 02 gets around 20 empty. Granted it is a 5.9, but you wouldn't think there would be that much of a variance.

Thank you sir, it's been a labor of love.

It started out like this, but i needed a dually so i converted it so i could haul my camper a little safer.

Almost 20 years old, and still 10X better than any truck built now a days.

Take the $40,000 to $50,000 people spend on new truck and put that into one of these. Visually it would look older, but out perform any other truck.
