Show me your summer jeep add-ons

I want to see big and small summer stuff. Things for hangin out at the beach, camping or off road stops.

Cooler ides, campfire chair holder, bottle openers, shower (I saw that once)...etc.

I think the idea of taking things off is more appropriate for summer.

For summer I take off the hard top and doors, install a halftop, tube doors, pack full soft doors, and put my home made misting system on.

and my newest one is my homemade mirror relocation bracket. i made this so i could drive around doorless and stay legal

What's a half top? Is that one of the decks that go in the back behind the seats?

@Stogie

Ok, I figured that's what it was, but I'm still new and learning. The basket on the back is pretty cool, first time I've seen that, can you give me more info on that?

Hey hoot,
Way to improvise with the bikini top. If you dont like the color, go to the parts store and buy some rattle can fabric paint.

Second, do you have pics of where the mirror bolts went thru the body? You had to drop the windshield to access them right?

I ussually just take off my hardtop and steel doors but that ussually happens as soon as it warms up a bit and stops snowing in the spring. This year I herced the floors and took out my big toolbox that I had in place of a backseat so I can actually have people ride with me again. The whole thing is torn apart right now though for some fresh paint, hopefully I get it done soon enough that theres some summer left to enjoy with the jeep.

I put some misters and a water faucet on there using an old RV waterpump to keep things cool during the summer and to wash off the sand at the beach!
