Show me your Snorkels!
I want to see some snorkels folks. Perferably on a Wrangler YJ but any wrangler will do.
Been having issues with my engine coughing when I go ScubaJeepin' and hopeing a snorkel will fix that problem

Looks kinda hard to do on a YJ because the cowls are shaped differently. Although, I really do like the price that guy spent building his compared to hwo much I'd pay for a plastic one. (almost $400
)I may look into the hummer snorkel more just for giggles.

Ah! Something cheap like that but with a hummer style top to keep the mud/water out would be the ticket! Lots of great ideas here! Looks like I need to borrow my neighbors pipe bender and assemble a hummer style snorkel top.

round one. broke it off on a tree.
![]() ![]() round two. got rid of the air filter up top, and made an airbox that houses a k&n. ![]() ![]() ![]() round three will be a hummer style intake most likley. i have ideas different from what ive seen though.... well see when i break this one off. ps. both attempts, and even when i add in a 3rd WHEN i break this one, are still cheaper then an ARB even with the k&n ![]() oh yea, i use it to, and it works.

i like the ideas of the filter on the top of the snorkel because it seems it would have more power than haveing the stock airbox, just me tho, more of a forced air induction,,john
