What were you doing in New Haven, CT? Saw you were from CO so I dont know why you would want to head out this way.

I used to live in Southington, and I have family in Bristol and Farmington. I went out last September for my b-day to visit and take the girlie out to meet some family. I took her down to Mystic, and on the way back, we stopped by the New Haven lighthouse to watch the sunset.

Nice area of the state. How do you like CO compared to living in CT?

I love Colorado, and I really wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I have good seasons here- warm (hot) summers for water skiing, driving topless, etc., pretty mild winters with good storms for snow. I love having the mountains close for snowboarding, camping and trails to wheel on.

The main thing I miss about CT is the forrests. I miss all the trees and having everything green. I really miss the east coast falls too- I love seeing all the colors of the trees. However, I hated the humidity (pretty dry here), and the poison ivy/oak/sumac (none of that here). If it could rain a bit more here enough to support more trees like back east, it'd be my heaven.

Keep moving forward. But keep an eye on history, for if you don't, you are doomed to repeat it.
