I just pained my control arms with it to try it out. It seems like it's really really durable, and covers very well. You just have to take your time painting it because it's so thick and tends to run if your not careful.
hammered almost looks swirly if you will to created a hammered metal look. The textured is more like a sandpaper looking feel. Well they make many types of textures but the one you would use on bumpers would be the rough looking one.
