Rustoleum Hammered Finish on Bumpers, Rockers...etc
I would like to see some bumpers or rockers painted with rustoleum hammered paint. I've heard good things about it covering well and I know a lot of people on here have used it to paint such things on their jeeps. Thanks

Not a great picture, but it looks great. I painted my BESRK bumpers last January and 17 months later, they still look great.

FYI....not all of the rustoleum hammered Black paint is black even though the Can's color code says so, you have to pay attention to the can's cap color (one is a slate gray color and the other is straight black)

I've used both in the last few weeks on my jeep and our jeeps are the same color so if you need specific pictures...let me know.

Gray Cap
head light bezels, grill inserts, sway bar cover
Rock hard Cage

Flares (I copied you after seeing yours Thanks!;))

On the rear bumper I used the Black Cap Can:

Also, I sprayed the door handles the other day however I don't have pictures yet--I used the gray cap can. I'll see if I can find my extra cans and post the cans codes so people don't have to go by 'cap color'.

Edit*** Black Cap Color code is 7215 Black, upc code 020066721589. Can't find any gray cans sorry! And cell phone camera could be way better.

Yea here's the color sheet.

The dark bronze throws me off. I almost bought it once because the cap doesn't look anything like a bronze color. The cap looks like a dark gray. I just picked up a can of black for my rockers. Thanks for the pics guys.

Well today I attempted to paint my rockers with hammered. I picked up a can of the what looked like a dark gray. It wasn't bright silver and it wasn't black. I think the actual color is called dark bronze. I wanted something close to the graphite flares and the cap looked pretty darn close so I decided to give it a shot, after all, if it doesn't turn out I can always repaint it black. Well after it dried it's not even close. These hammered paints really are goofy and don't look anything like the caps. It looks horrible. Check out the pics below with the hammered paint. Well after this I got some duplicolor graphite wheel paint and resprayed them with that. It's dark out and drying now so no pics yet of that. It looks like it matches better so hopefully it will look better tomorrow, if not then its getting sprayed black.

How is the duability of that paint?

Headlight bezels

I plan on using it much more often from now on. I love how it looks

ouch, I have seen people swap caps in the stores. Some of them have stickers on the can that indicate color.

All that said, I have found the black hammered is a close match to the fender flares.
