Rollover damage

hi, i dont know if this thread already exists but i couldnt find it.

has anyone rolled over his jeep ??

I wanna see how bad it can get with stock roll bar, and if you had aftermarket rollcages how better it is

Thanks!

Here's mine:

Damage after roll (slow speed) consisted of the hood, fenders (straightened in picture), windshield frame, rear quarter and several cracks in the hardtop as well as a broken window. Roll bar was not damaged in any way:

After repairs:

no pics of mine, but I just flopped the ol' XJ on the pass side on the uphill side of a really off camber trail... No real "character" to be had by such a sissy flop. Just some scuffs and a broke mirrir, and windshield.

A guy rear ended me around a turn, made me fishtale and roll going 60. The link in my sig tells all about it.

$7,700. (About $2,250 was the hardtop) Got lucky and my insurance paid for it.

Soft flop at WITC...

Hood would have been fine if it weren't for that tree, but that tree kept me from going on my roof...

Ironic eh?

The flop actually messed up my passenger fender (that was already bent from a tree) such that I was able to straighten it BETTER. The hood was straightened a bit. Found a cowl and windshield frame in my Jeep's body color at local yards.

I NOW have a hood, newer style cowl, and fender that need paint, but they were all FREE! WOOT! Just gotta paint em now.

This is my friends TJ after he rolled it 5 times. He was thrown out on the second roll. I talked to him a week ago (beat up pretty bad, having shoulder surgery), and he definitely is very lucky! But the pic goes to show how well an aftermarket cage can protect you vs. stock. Looking at other pics from the wreck and seeing the damage, a stock cage would have flattened out like a paper clip.

Don't tell me you flopped it so that people could read the windshield sticker?
