And I've used it many times already. ![]() Side shot: ![]() Putting it to good use: ![]() And here you can see that it also aids in recovery when stuck in some real thick mud, as it lets you slide on top of the mud as you're being pulled out. ![]() __________________ -Steve- 2004 TJ Rubicon OME HD springs - OME shocks - RE front/rear adjustable Superflex LCAs - Rusty's adjustable front UCAs - Full Traction rear tri-link conversion - Rusty's quick disconnects - JKS 1.25" BL - JKS 1" MML - Nth diff skid - Iron Rock Off Road HD tie-rod - Warn M8000 - Tom Wood's rear CV shaft - Rokmen high clearance belly skid - Rokmen Mercenary Sliders - Rokmen engine/tranny skid - Rokmen steering box skid - Rokmen Mercenary front bumper RIP: 2004 WJ Overland: 5.5" with front/rear long arms, sliders, skids, 32" Cooper STT's and wheeled it like it wasn't my DD. 2 motors, 2 trannies, 150k miles before I parked it. That's MR. Newbie to you. | well, the skid is the tummy tuck. and a body lift helps, not required though. |

Rusty's makes an engine skid similar to the skid row's, and i'm wondering if I get that, if I'll be able to mount it flush with the TT. | |

Registered User Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Fairmont, WV Posts: 255 | You have to drill a couple new holes in the Rokmen TT Skid to bolt the Skid Row to it. There are 3 holes in the Skid Row, but you cant use the center one, cuz there is no way to get the nut on, the tranny is in the way. Maybe if you bolted them together before putting them on the jeep? Then the slotted hole in the front of the Skid Row that the control arm bolt goes through, just needs slotted a bit more, so that you can slide the Skid Row back just a bit more. The Skid Row barely overlaps the Rokmen, and the holes you drill in is are Right on the edge, but it works and I have had no problems. I did manage to bow the Skid Row up an inch or so, I was in a Crawl 4 Kids event, went over a pile of logs obstacle, Slamming down on it. Its still fine though,,,, I just have more clearance now LOL ~John __________________ www.jtice.com 05 Jeep Rubicon 2.5" OME Lift, JKS BL/MML, JKS Trackbars, Rokmen TT Skid, Skid Row Engine Skid, ARB Bull Bumper, Warn M8000, Poison Spyder Rock Rails, Omix Front Diff Skid, Nth Degree Rear Diff Slider, Garvin Roof Rack, High Rock Rear Bumper |
