Retro TJ /LJ's

Im a really big fan of the 70's style CJ renegades and Levis editions. I am thinking about getting some custom Rubicon graphics and pin striping for my LJ. Depending on how it looks I might try plastic dipping my moabs white.

Had anyone else tried this with their TJ or LJ?

Please post some pics.

Flat MCE flenders , relocated turn signals like a CJ , and old Renegade style lettering.

Very nice, who did you have do your Rubicon decal?

I keep throwing around the idea of doing cj turn signals, but I want to do a cj tailgate swap first.

I sketched up my idea and went to a semi local vinyl shop. They took my idea , refined it and then printed it for me. Skip the CJ turns and use the JK's. They plug in and wont corrode like the CJ's do.

I did this terribly bad photoshop edit of this very idea awhile back (albeit for a JK)

I'd love to see a retro graphic kit. I think the white HT is killer (especially on a darker body), and i'd love to get my hands on a set of stock steel wheels and have them done in white, with a black pinstripe and chrome center cap...

Digging the white wagon wheels on the dark body. That combo would look great on a Cosmos blue JK. Sort of like the Levis editions.
