anyone know if this would work on a YJ? Gas cap is under the flip down license plate.

It should, there is nothing behind the taillight. The gas fill line is underneath the taillight a good bit.

I am going to be getting into mine tomorrow to do this...so I will let you know what the outcome is. The filler being so much lower (and gravity having to do its thing with your gasoline) I don't know why there would be any interference. I guess we'll find out at about 8 am tomorrow (I'm also using my Dremel with 540 cut-off wheels. I bought a new pack today and realized I had an old pack in my dremel case...so hopefully 10 will do it! I'll post up pictures as I go).

hey steelman... i know these posts go back quite some time but what are the chances you still have the pattern for the flush rear light mount and am willing to mail it to me. those lights look sick like that, i gotta do it.

I didn't cut the nubs off so I still have side markers and license plate lights/reflectors
